What a day trip is — and is not
On ThaiEleHub, a day trip means you leave your hotel, spend a set window at one sanctuary, and return the same day. It is not an overnight stay and not a show. On Living Green, guests bathe with the elephants when the elephants choose to go in the water (elephant-led, never forced).
If a listing leads with riding, painting, circus tricks or a promised “must-bath photo,” it is a different product. We do not sell those.

A beautiful Chiang Mai valley day is the wrong SKU if your hotel is in Sukhumvit. A Chonburi morning from Bangkok is the wrong SKU if you land in Chiang Mai tonight. Pickup zones do not mix.
Prefer a quieter itinerary over a longer activity list
Half-day is enough for a first visit. Full-day is for travelers who want the extra activity and can handle a longer road day. More activities are not automatically more ethical.
