1. Confirm the welfare line before the price

Skip any itinerary that includes riding, circus-style shows, painting, or forced tricks. Feeding, walking and water time should be described as possible, not guaranteed entertainment. Elephants should be able to move away from the group.

ThaiEleHub only lists Living Green (Chiang Mai valley and Chonburi) and Big Boy (Doi Inthanon foothills). They are not the same camp. Read the product page for that day’s route.

2. Match the SKU to your hotel city

• Chiang Mai nights: Living Green or Big Boy half-day (from ฿1,600 adult) or a listed full-day combination.
• Bangkok nights: Chonburi morning or afternoon with Bangkok pickup (฿2,200 adult). This is not Chiang Mai.
• Pattaya nights: the matching Pattaya-departure Chonburi SKU (~40 minutes).

Do not enter a Bangkok hotel on a Chiang Mai product. Pickup teams cannot collect across regions.

3. Choose half-day unless you want the extra activity

Half-day is the default first visit. Full-day Chiang Mai adds cooking, rafting or Doi Inthanon as printed on that SKU. Chonburi is half-day only.

4. Count guests the way Stripe will

Adults are ages 9+. Children 4–8 use the child variant where it exists. Infants under 4 follow the note on the product page.

• Chiang Mai: each guest pays 25% online (฿400 on a ฿1,600 adult half-day).
• Chonburi: each guest pays ฿800 online, adult or child, on the Living Green Checkout Session. Two adults = ฿1,600 today.

5. Enter pickup so a driver can find you

Use the lead guest’s name as on the passport, the tour date, a reachable phone (WhatsApp is fastest), and the hotel name as it appears on Google Maps. Villas and Airbnbs need a full address plus a map pin. Bangkok meeting-point bookings use the printed meeting point (for example Wat That Thong / BTS Ekkamai where listed) instead of a hotel.

6. Pack for dirt, heat and a briefing

Breathable clothes, grip shoes, sun protection, insect repellent, a spare shirt. Leave valuables in the hotel safe. Follow the guide on distance and photography — professional photos are included so you do not need to crowd the elephants for a shot.

7. Leave slack after the return window

Bangkok–Chonburi afternoon returns can land around 18:30–19:00. Do not stack an evening flight or a hard dinner reservation on the same night until you have done the trip once.

8. Know the cancellation line

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. Inside 24 hours the deposit is not refundable. Outside 24 hours, refunds subtract 6.5% payment-channel cost.
