When can I book the Big Boy x Yi Peng Festival (GLCM) package?
The Big Boy x Yi Peng Festival (GLCM) package is available on 24–25 Nov 2026 only. It is the Bigboy Half-day Afternoon Program plus the GLCM lantern event.
What is the schedule?
Hotel pickup in Chiang Mai is 11:00–11:30. Arrival at the sanctuary is at 12:00 for the education briefing, vitamin balls at the feeding table, and habitat care. Guests cannot touch the elephants. Departure for GLCM is 17:00–17:30, for cultural workshops, Lanna performances, an 8-station dinner buffet, and the official mass lantern release. At 21:00 guests leave GLCM for drop-off at Prasert Land (Nimman area) only, not at hotels.
What does the package cost, and how do I pay?
The adult price is 4,900 THB. Children aged 0–3 are free. Please confirm pricing for children aged 4 and over with Big Boy when booking. Full payment is required at booking.
What is included, and can the order change?
The package includes round-trip transfer (hotel pickup and drop-off at the Prasert Land meeting point), the Bigboy afternoon program, 3 lanterns per person, the dinner buffet, and bamboo platform seating. The activity order may change because of weather or the festival. Watch the herd from a distance, feed vitamin balls at the feeding table, and help with habitat care. Guests cannot touch the elephants. No bathing with elephants, no riding, and no walking with elephants are offered, as these activities require controlling the elephants which goes against the sanctuary's principles of respecting their natural behavior and freedom.
