Both Chiang Mai sanctuaries take children from about age 5–6 upward, with a dedicated child variant on some programs (age 4–8). Half-day routes are the calmer first choice for families with younger kids; full-day combinations (bamboo rafting, Pad Thai cooking, Doi Inthanon) work better once you have had a rest day. Sanctuary days run through the wet season. Light rain does not usually cancel. Living Green programs adjust footwear, forest walks and river time to conditions on the day. Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour start time for a deposit refund. Stripe, our payment processor, keeps its 6.5% processing fee. This fee is not charged or kept by ThaiEleHub. Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled tour start time are non-refundable, because guides, drivers, meals and sanctuary scheduling are usually committed by then. Bookings made within 24 hours of tour start are non-refundable once paid. No-shows are charged the full tour price; the deposit is not refunded.
